Cannabis is an extremely versatile product with a variety of uses, but what are the best uses for cannabis?

One of the greatest things about cannabis is its versatility. This natural compound is rapidly becoming one of the world’s greatest superfoods as more and more uses are found for this wonder plant. It’s not really a surprise, though! For thousands of years, people have been using cannabis and cannabis products for hundreds of different reasons. It was only in the early part of the 20th century that people started to turn away from cannabis.

Inside all of us is something known as the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). Regardless of whether you’ve ever used or tried cannabis, you’ll still have an ECS. It’s believed that the ECS is responsible for maintaining homeostasis (balance and harmony) inside our central nervous system and immune system.

Although the ECS is firmly focussed on these areas, it’s also made up of a series of receptors that are spread throughout the body and linked together. In the following article, we’re going to take a closer look at why so many people enjoy using cannabis and some of the exciting ways that they use it!

Cannabis for Reduced Chronic PAIN!

Studies have shown that CBD could potentially help reduce chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity. This impact reduces inflammation through interaction with neurotransmitters.

There have also been a variety of studies conducted on humans into both THC and CBD as effective treatments for the pain and inflammation associated with arthritis and multiple sclerosis. An oral spray, known as Sativex that uses both CBD and THC, and is also approved in several different countries, is used to treat the pain experienced by people with multiple sclerosis.

In a public speaking study, participants were given an oral dose of CBD ninety minutes before they took a simulated public speaking event. Researchers learned that a 300-mg dose of CBD was the most effective way to help reduce anxiety before they spoke. The study also gave some people a much higher dose of CBD, while a small percentage received a placebo instead of CBD.

Another area that’s gaining popularity is the use of cannabis products for skin-related conditions such as acne. One study discovered that CBD oil helped to prevent the sebaceous glands from secreting excessive sebum. This helped to prevent pores from becoming blocked and reduced the inflammation and pain associated with acne and other skin conditions.

Cannabis for Healing!

Cannabis is increasingly becoming a popular solution for a variety of different conditions and ailments affecting people. Currently, more research is needed, particularly clinical trials, before we can make any specific claims about cannabis and what it can or can’t do. The news is promising, though, as scientists around the world rush to discover more about this beautiful natural product.
